Green Hill Lake Camping Area
The Green Hill Lake Camping Area is a delightful setting, with plenty of shade, and lots of unmarked camping spots. There is a dump point near the entrance to the camping grounds, public toilets, hot showers, undercover playground for the children plus an exercise machine for all to use, good fishing and pet friendly as well. All within a short distance to Ararat.
This is a free campsite, but I'd suggest leaving a donation at the donation box.
Ararat Council have excelled at creating a wonderful place to camp. For those who like walking, there is a concrete walking or cycling path runs all the way to Ararat.
Note: Wood can be purchased from the park rangers, and No Camping is permitted on the lawn areas.
