Using a Mobile Phone as External Microphone for your action camera then Video Post Production to merge them.
My YouTube video demonstrating Using a Mobile Phone as External Microphone for your action camera then Video Post Production to merge them.
When using your Git2 action camera, or any other camera that's used for video's, you are limited to just how far away from its on-board microphone you can get, before you loose all audio completely.
I use a mobile phone ? as an external microphone, and sync it to the Git2 cameras video later in post production
It's a very simple process.
1. Camera recording video.
2. Mobile Phone recording sound. (Any Sound Recording app should do)
3. Transfer your files to your Video editing software, and sync them together.
P.S. You need to make a sharp noise, like that from a clap-stick ? , that's used in Big Screen Movies.
It gives you with both a visual and audio signal mark to help you join the video, and audio together in your video editing software, so they play in sync.
