Hoping this right area for this. After buying a caravan from Greens RVs on sunshine coast I'm disgusted in them. After ordering a new fridge and washer to be fitted along with a gvm upgrade for it ,It was delivered and I noticed a few small things wrong but didn't want to cause issues. It wasn't until the second day when the $3000 fridge fell out that I hit the roof. Manager Peter Duncan said he had no knowledge of my concerns as he hadn't been told. I find that hard to swallow as I had sent pics email and text to the salesman Jarrad and staff at Greens RVs . It was only after he say my post on social media did he pH. He has stated they may repair fridge only if it didn't fall out off road. Lol It fell out on a double laned sealed highway and shouldn't matter if the six mounting screws had been fitted correctly. So to date the conduct carrying the 240 volt is illegal ,Kinked and holes not sealed. The main awning support mounts have the wrong screws and silicone. Every external door had to be adjusted. The gvm and rwc are under investigation by compliance at qld transport, They have given me a waver while this is going on. Greens have a statement from the mechanic who would be paid well saying he served wheel bearings but I don't see how when all the dust covers have full film of dirt around them and all bearings lose with no grease as my pics show. Axles had been turned and van above legal height requiring mud flaps according to transport, So where are they. In Manager Peter Duncan's own word the fact that he hadn't been told by his staff shows unprofessional deceptive and misleading conduct and under law I'm entitled to a full refund. The fridge falling out has caused serious internal and some structural damage. As he won't respond now the matter is also in the hands of A current Affair . The salesman Jarrad told me the van had a anti flap kit, It does not. He stated the awning arms were curved ,They are not. He stayed you can over ride the slide, You cannot. He said the air-conditioning was soft start, It is not. Even the main water inlet pipe was missing wand the new washer leaks all over the floor which we can't remove to repair. All please be careful dealing with Greens RVs. Even the hot water hadn't been served and the van was dirty.

Thats a nightmare.

I hope A Current Affair will get swift results for you.

In the meantime:
You should contact your local ombudsman with those details.
I dont think Consumer affairs has many teeth these days, but its worth contacting that department also.
Don't forget to contact the Office of Fair Trading in Queensland while your at it.
